We continue our tradition of interviewing our members. That way, you can get to know them better. This time, we interview David Kuntz and Florian Schwinghammer, the two founders of GeoAlto.

They talk about the services that GeoAlto can provide to customers who are interested in constructing and operating thermonets. Finally, David and Florian give their perspective on the future of thermonets and their importance for energy independence.

When asked what they hope to gain from being members of Thermonet Europe, Florian emphasizes the need to propagate these systems and to show customers, practitioners, and politicians how it’s done and that it can be done. David stresses that the more we are and the bigger the community is, the easier we can make the job, and it provides the comfort of knowing that no one is doing this alone.

In the association, we look forward to collaborating further with GeoAlto and will soon be publishing a case study about one of the thermonets where they have provided the design, supervised the construction, and monitor the operation of the system.
